Job description

We are currently seeking a full-time Licensed Associate Veterinarian in Southwest Florida, to join our skilled team of veterinarians and staff.

DeSoto Animal Clinic is providing an excellent career opportunity where you can practice medicine with autonomy. We are a privately owned multi-doctor practice. We employ six Certified Veterinary Technicians with an equal number of assistants, and a full administrative staff.

Our practice was established in 1980, and since that time we have maintained and have continued to grow a well-established clientele. We are located on Florida’s Gulf Coast between Tampa Bay and Sarasota in scenic West Bradenton, Florida. We are within an 8-mile drive of the beaches of Anna Maria Island. This area has many activities including water sports, museums, food, outdoor activities, culture, camping, hiking… the list goes on.

What our clinic has to offer for you
A new, large, state of the art facility that offers ten exam rooms, a large treatment area, a pharmacy, a digital radiology room and ultrasound, Idexx lab equipment, therapeutic LASER, a fully equipped surgical suite including a CO2 surgical LASER, as well as a separate dental suite
Compensation is based on production with full-time doctors earning $140,000 to $210,000 per year. Pro-Sal is also an option without negative accrual.
