Job summary

Biddeford Animal Hospital is an independently owned small‑animal practice in Maine. We believe medicine should serve patients and the community, not investors, and we offer doctors a real voice in how we practice. We provide traditional medicine and surgery, ultrasound with telehealth support, acupuncture, and exotic care.

We support your clinical interests and growth within a collaborative team. This is ideally a full‑time role near the coast; Maine veterinary license and DEA license are

Qualifications

• Licensed DVM with Maine licensure or eligibility in good standing.
• Experience in small-animal medicine and surgery preferred.
• Interest in ultrasound, acupuncture, or exotic animal care a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical and surgical care for small animals.
• Perform ultrasounds and assist in diagnostics.

The hospital is located near the Maine Turnpike's Biddeford exit, making commuting from surrounding areas straight forward. The city of Biddeford is growing fast, close to the coast, and has a thriving food and arts scene. Portland is an easy drive away. Outdoor recreation is exceptional. And the cost of living is still reasonable for the region, which matters when you're thinking about quality of life, not just salary.

This is ideally a full-time role, but we're open to part-time for the right person.
