Job summary

VCA Benicia Animal Hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a team delivering world-class veterinary care. You will work with a skilled team and use advanced medicine and technology in a supportive environment.

The role offers a Monday–Thursday schedule from 8 am to 6 pm, treating cats and dogs with emphasis on compassionate care and client relationships. VCA supports professional growth, benefits, and a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

  • DVM degree from an accredited university or equivalent.
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in CA, or ability to obtain.
  • A commitment to the highest standard of medicine and ethics.

  • Provide world-class veterinary care for cats and dogs.
  • Collaborate with team to deliver compassionate, high-quality medicine.
  • Mentor and educate staff and teammates to uphold standards.

Total Rewards
  • Compensation The annual salary range for this position is $66,560 - $180K. Salary is negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities and other relevant credentials. Salary range listed is based on a 40 hour work week. This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.

Qualifications
  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, from an accredited university or equivalent
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in CA, or the ability to obtain A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
