A privately owned, AAHA-accredited small animal hospital in Bartonville, TX is looking to welcome an Associate Veterinarian to its collaborative team.
This AAHA-accredited, AAFP Cat Friendly Gold-certified practice has served the local community for around two decades, building a loyal client base through its reputation for compassionate, high-quality care. As an independently owned practice, it offers the autonomy and close-knit culture of private medicine without corporate red tape.
Housed in a gorgeous, standalone 5,300 sq ft building with a ranch style feel, the hospital includes a dedicated cat only exam room and embraces fear free handling principles throughout, using sedation and low stress techniques to keep pets, clients, and staff comfortable. Appointments are scheduled in generous 30-minute slots, supporting a focus on building strong, lasting client relationships rather than high volume throughput.
This is a collaborative, two doctor clinic backed by an experienced support team of roughly 10 to 12 staff, cross trained across surgery and wellness care. The practice is equipped with digital radiography, full in-house laboratory diagnostics with reference lab access, and a fully equipped surgical suite used for spays and neuters, dentistry, and mass removals, with visiting specialists brought in for orthopedic surgery and ultrasound as needed.
The current medical director has led the practice for a decade and is now looking to bring on an additional associate to support a growing caseload and step further into a management focused role, creating a genuine opportunity for a new doctor to grow into a busier clinical schedule with flexibility to focus on surgery, appointments, or a mix of both.
Work life balance is a defining feature of this role, with a consistent four day work week, no weekend shifts, and no on call or emergency responsibilities.
Located in Bartonville, the clinic sits within easy reach of the wider Dallas-Fort Worth area, offering a small-town feel alongside convenient access to city amenities.
