About You

Partnering with the practice manager and leadership team, you'll develop strategies, implement improvements, and guide our hospital towards excellence in patient and client care, while supporting staff development.

Experience & Skills Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required.
  • State Veterinary Board License and must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, prior to their start date.
  • Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible.

About Our Hospital

Thrive South Lamar is a small animal practice located in Hurst providing high quality, dedicated care for every patient. Our hospital has a collaborative team and is committed to a positive work environment. We pride ourselves on compassionate care and high standards of medical excellence. Our team is focused on raising the bar within veterinary medicine while lowering costs for our clients. From nose to tail, we specialize in thorough, routine treatments that make up 90% of all veterinary visits.

Our preventive care caseload is diverse and includes radiology, dental, diagnostics, and surgery, all performed with state-of-the-art equipment. We value independent thinking and entrepreneurial spirit. We have a high technician-to-doctor ratio, creating a fast-paced, fun, and friendly environment. Most importantly, we prioritize high-quality medicine and offer scheduling that supports work-life balance.

We are open Monday - Saturday: 8:00am - 6:00pm

Serving Travis Heights, Galindo, South Lamar, Bouldin Creek, Zilker
