Aztec Animal Clinic is located in the historic Nob Hill district of Albuquerque, NM. Established in 1990, it remains a locally owned and operated practice. We prioritize a collaborative environment with case discussions encouraged and shared case management. We hold monthly DVM meetings and promote ongoing case rounds throughout the day, fostering a mentoring environment for new veterinarians.

Our support staff-to-doctor ratio is approximately 4.25:1, with numerous hospital floor assistants, enabling us to focus on personalized patient care. Our facilities include digital ultrasound, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, a dedicated operating room, extensive anesthesia monitoring equipment, benchside laboratory testing, an extensive pharmacy, and more.

We support our veterinarians' professional development by paying for attendance at advanced dentistry and oral surgery courses, providing new surgical instruments, and offering a yearly CE stipend. Our goal is to promote a sustainable work-life balance with a 32-hour work week (4 days/week) and Saturday half-days. We also organize social activities outside of work, such as attending sports games, volleyball, paint and sip nights, picnics, and family events.
