Job summary

OXEN Technology seeks an energetic Associate Virtual Chief Information Security Officer (Associate vCISO) who blends technology, business strategy, and relationship management to deliver cybersecurity excellence for clients.

You’ll collaborate with experienced vCISOs, conduct risk assessments, develop roadmaps and governance programs, and translate complex findings into actionable business guidance for executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent practical experience considered.
• Experience in cybersecurity, information technology, account management, or technology consulting.
• Knowledge of governance, risk management, and security policy development.
• Familiarity with frameworks like NIST, CIS Controls, ISO 27001.
• Customer success or account-management experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication with technical and nontechnical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Help clients understand cybersecurity risks and implement practical solutions.
• Support risk assessments, security reviews, and strategic planning.
• Develop cybersecurity roadmaps, policies, and risk programs.
• Review findings and translate them into business recommendations.
• Lead client meetings and ongoing service discussions.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity, technical, support, and sales teams.
• Prepare clear reports translating technical findings to business insights.
