As a member of the Underwriting team, evaluates and underwrites insurance risks within the 10-999 life segment, balancing risk assessment with profitable business growth objectives. Builds and maintains strong relationships with producers, field partners, and internal stakeholders while delivering responsive customer service and underwriting expertise. Applies underwriting guidelines, company procedures, and state regulatory requirements to support sound business decisions. Contributes to departmental initiatives, mentors peers, and supports projects that drive operational excellence and portfolio performance.
*This role requires the ability to travel once per year.
We are considering candidates at the Associate Underwriter or Underwriter levels based on qualifications and experience.
You’ll Need Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Higher education is preferred.
The compensation range for Associate Underwriter, Regional Accounts is $52,750.00 - $90,000.
The compensation range for Underwriter, Regional Accounts is $66,000.00 - $111,750.

Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on a variety of factors including individual and organizational performance.
The actual compensation for this role will be based on a combination of education and experience, knowledge and skills, position budget, internal equity, and market data.
Salary Range: 31.73 - 46.27
