Job Description And Duties

This position is in the Local Assistance Unit, which is under the direction of the Local Assistance Chief, a Senior Transportation Engineer. This unit is responsible for project management and helping deliver State and Federal funded projects with local governmental agencies and regional transportation planning agencies. The incumbent will manage local agency transportation projects from conception to completion. The incumbent must understand techniques in financing, consultant selection, construction management, and Federal Highway Administration's code of regulations.
