Job summary

Senra Systems is seeking an Associate Trainer to develop and deliver workmanship training for electrical harnessing and cable assembly. You will onboard new technicians, reinforce standards compliance, and build a pipeline of certifiable talent on the production floor.

This internal role develops toward Technical/Senior Trainer paths, with opportunities to pursue IPC/WHMA-A-620 or NASA-STD-8739.4A trainer credentials and internal growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year hands-on harnessing at Senra Systems.
• Must be Harnessing Level Technician or above.
• Proficient in wire harness assembly, crimping, soldering, and connector termination.
• Familiar with IPC/WHMA-A-620 acceptance criteria.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Strong communication and mentorship skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on and classroom-based training on wire harness fabrication.
• Support training aligned to IPC/WHMA-A-620 and NASA-STD-8739.4A.
• Conduct skills assessments and practical certifications.
• Maintain training materials, kitting, and job aids.
• Track training records and certification status.
• Assist with root-cause analysis to improve training content.
• Collaborate with Quality Engineering to reflect ECOs and revisions.
• Develop and administer certification exams.
• Mentor apprentice and junior technicians.
