Job summary

Job description

About The Role

You will work cross-functionally with business and technical stakeholders, represent the department’s needs and interests in company-wide strategic initiatives, and solve business problems related to internal processes. You will lead the design, optimization, and implementation of processes, improvements, and platforms to support operational goals. This role requires collecting and documenting business requirements, building and managing project plans, documenting key decisions, managing governance, applying frameworks, analyzing data, and developing risk mitigation strategies across multiple initiatives and stakeholders simultaneously.

Work Location

This position is based in our New York City office and requires a hybrid work schedule with 3 days of in‑office work per week. Thursdays are a required in‑office day for team meetings and events; the other two office days are flexible.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Pay Transparency: Base pay $96,876 – $127,149 per year.

Responsibilities
  • Lead end‑to‑end management of cross‑functional implementations and projects, including project plans, stakeholder engagement, and relationship management.
  • Evaluate departmental performance by creating, gathering (Big Data queries), analyzing, and interpreting data and metrics; assist in the development of departmental metrics and mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and maintain KPI dashboards.
  • Perform trend and variance analysis to identify performance drivers.
  • Ensure audit forecasts align with business objectives and changes.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholder groups to formulate implementation, communication, and program strategies for change management and risk mitigation.
  • Apply strong analytical and modeling skills to solve complex business problems.
  • Analyze data to support data‑driven decision making; mentor team members and promote colleague growth.
  • Support other strategic projects as assigned to meet business needs.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of work experience in operations and/or health insurance.
  • 2+ years of experience using data software such as Excel/Google Sheets, SQL, or other analytics tools.
  • 2+ years of end‑to‑end project management experience in a cross‑functional environment.
  • 2+ years of experience managing, presenting, and owning stakeholder management.
  • 2+ years of experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and/or Theory of Constraints.
  • Experience administering operational, quality, or analytics platforms, including requirements gathering, workflow documentation, vendor evaluation, and leading UAT.
Bonus Points
  • A bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of commensurate experience.
