Job summary

USVETS Orange County is seeking an Associate MFT or CSW to assist in facilitating group therapy sessions in a school-based setting or field-based in the Orange County or Los Angeles region. The role reports to the Director of Behavioral Health or Project Director.

The position is exempt under FLSA and involves growing caseload and flexible scheduling, including Fridays and occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Registered associate with CA state Board of Behavioral Sciences as A-MFT, A-CSW or A-PCC.
• Current malpractice insurance.
• Availability for Friday (and Saturday as needed) and flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective psychotherapeutic treatment for clients with anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship issues.
• Maintain quality clinical documentation of sessions.
• Manage a weekly schedule with clients and fee collection.
• Participate in weekly clinical supervision with the U.S.VETS clinical team.
