Job Summary

Perform standard testing processes on a variety of equipment and record results.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform standard testing processes on a variety of equipment and record results.
  • Require knowledge of industry-specific tests and testing equipment, alignment, and troubleshooting test failures.
  • Provide routine technical support to engineers and scientists on standard components, devices, materials, products, processes, and/or equipment.
  • Test, modify, rework, repair, and build electronic, optical, or mechanical assemblies.
  • Work from wiring and assembly drawings, operation sheets, engineering specifications, and sketches.
  • Design and/or test prototype assemblies and production units.
  • Perform related manufacturing processes.
  • Interpret and follow SOPs and safety rules.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements per State and Federal regulations and certifications.
  • Interface with other departments to ensure efficient flow of information and materials.
  • Perform Key Performance Indicators: product quality, raw material stock levels, compliance outcomes.
  • Coordinate activities and reprioritize as operational conditions change.
  • Read and possibly develop wiring diagrams, layout drawings, and engineering specifications for system modifications or expansion.
  • Support and uphold the mission, values, and culture of the organization.
Qualifications
  • Strong decision-making and leadership skills.
  • Experience handling small delicate components, using ESD practices.
  • Soldering and wire bonding experience is a plus.
  • Experience with safe handling of chemicals.
  • Proficient in computer applications including Access, Excel, and Labview.
  • Experience with MRP is a plus.
  • Good hand-eye coordination.
