Job summary

KLA Milpitas is seeking an Associate Test Engineer to join the Global Operations team. You will perform setup, calibration and testing of circuits, analyze test data and generate technical reports supporting the development of advanced semiconductor equipment.

The role requires hands-on testing of electrical and optomechanical systems, reading complex drawings, and collaboration across multiple sites. 4 years of experience or a related degree is required, with potential for extended hours and

Qualifications

• 4 years of relevant experience or Bachelor's degree.
• Hands-on testing of digital/analog components and systems.
• Ability to read and comprehend complex drawings, math, and formulas.
• Willingness to learn and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies.
• Determine and may develop test specifications, methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams.
• Test and troubleshoot assemblies and/or final systems, and complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing.
• Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.
