Job summary

Eos Energy Enterprises is hiring an Associate Test Engineer to support the development, testing, and manufacturing of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) products. You will work with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure product reliability and compliance.

The role involves designing hardware/software test programs, automating tests, maintaining procedures, and training technicians on test equipment and fixtures in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Associates degree in an engineering discipline required.
0-2 years of engineering experience, internships, or co-op projects acceptable.
Strong communication and problem solving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Assist senior engineers in designing, developing, and validating hardware and software test programs.
Develop and validate automated test programs and fixtures.
Write and maintain detailed test procedures for manufacturing test teams, including setup, execution and data capture.
Apply Six Sigma and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) tools to improve processes and reduce defects.
Analyze test failures to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Coordinate selection and qualification of test equipment for manufacturing.
Provide training to manufacturing test technicians on proper use of test equipment and fixtures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product compliance and integration.
