Responsibilities

• Operating and monitoring specialized production equipment.
• Reading and interpreting prescription work orders.
• Performing quality inspections to ensure products meet standards.
• Troubleshooting minor equipment issues.
• Cleaning and maintaining machinery and work areas.
• Preparing production materials and chemical mixtures.
• Supporting multiple departments as production needs change.

Available Shifts & Pay

1st Shift

• Monday-Friday
• 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• $17.25/hour

2nd Shift

• Monday-Friday
• 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• $18.75/hour

3rd Shift

• Sunday-Thursday
• 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• $19.25/hour

What You'll Do

As an Associate Technician, you'll play an important role in producing high-quality optical lenses that help people see their best. Daily responsibilities may include:

• Operating and monitoring specialized production equipment
• Reading and interpreting prescription work orders
• Performing quality inspections to ensure products meet standards
• Troubleshooting minor equipment issues
• Cleaning and maintaining machinery and work areas
• Preparing production materials and chemical mixtures
• Supporting multiple departments as production needs change

Specialized Production Areas

Coating

• Load lenses into specialty baskets
• Operate coating equipment
• Handle and load production chemicals

Finishing

• Operate edging equipment
• Bevel and tint lenses
• Mount completed lenses into frames

Surfacing

• Apply protective tape to lenses
• Operate polishing equipment
• Remove lenses from manufacturing blocks

What We're Looking For

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to read instructions and follow production standards
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced production environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for an entire shift
• Willingness to work around chemicals, machinery, noise, and varying production conditions

Pay Details: $17.25 to $19.25 per hour
