Blue Origin is seeking an Associate - Technician to support the development and operations of Engines. This entry-level role is part of the Engines Team, supporting Blue Origin’s mission of millions of people living and working in space for the Earth.

The role covers material handling, inventory tracking, basic kitting, data entry, tool/inventory management, and novice assembly. A passion for the mission and teamwork across departments is required.

This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.

Job Profile: Associate - Technician — This role supports the development and operations of Engines. The team fosters innovation and drives engineering workflows for the future. We are looking for someone to apply their skills and commitment to quality to positively impact the program. Minimum Qualifications

• Passion for our mission: Millions of people living and working in space!
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Computer skills, familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc mechanical aptitude
• Experience within aerospace, automotive, or relevant fields
• Experience in organizing files and documents
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted
• Familiarity with various hand and power tools and correct usage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with a cross-functional team across organizational boundaries
• Computer skills with MS Office suite (particularly MS Excel)
• Outstanding written/verbal communications skills
• Strong organizational skills and finely tuned attention to detail
• Demonstrated understanding of continuous improvement tools: LEAN, Six Sigma principles

Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical.
