CAE is seeking an Associate Technical Writer in the United States, based in New York, to translate complex engineering concepts into clear, accurate documentation that supports training systems used by pilots and maintainers.

You’ll collaborate with engineers and quality teams, apply DoD and industry style standards, and use publishing tools to prepare content for release. This early-career role offers growth opportunities in a global leader in simulation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and page-layout skills with sharp attention to detail.
  • Solid computer skills and comfort with Microsoft Office; experience with publishing or multimedia tools is a plus.
  • Ability to manage deadlines, stay organized, and work effectively within a structured process.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret clearance and Special Program Access; U.S. citizenship required.
  • Willingness to support occasional overtime, shift work, weekend work, and CONUS travel.
  • Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.
