Job description

Position Title: Associate Technical Project Manager, Table Games

Description
Job Overview

AGS is a leading supplier of innovative games and systems for the global gaming industry. Our mission is to deliver superior casino gaming products that elevate the players experience while maximizing operational value for our customers.

The Associate Technical Project Manager supports the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects across the AGS Table Games portfolio. Working under the guidance of senior project management and engineering staff, this role helps keep programs on schedule by tracking dependencies, maintaining project plans, coordinating across functions, and driving action items to closure.

The immediate focus is the production engineering effort that takes our new line of card shuffler products from prototype to production ready. That work spans design reviews, supplier development and qualification, procurement readiness, test and validation, pilot builds, and formal engineering change management, and it requires close coordination between engineering, operations, supply chain, and external partners.

Beyond the shuffler programs, this role supports project management needs across the broader Table Games engineering portfolio, including hardware, firmware, software, and table progressive products. This is a growth position intended to build depth in technical project management within a regulated hardware environment.

The position is based in the Duluth, GA office and reports to the Vice President of Table Games Engineering. The role works daily alongside the Engineering Operations project management team in Duluth, embedding into established project management practice, and collaborates with remote teams in Las Vegas.

Responsibilities
  • Support the planning, scheduling, and delivery of Table Games engineering projects spanning mechanical, hardware, firmware, and software components.
  • Take high-level directives and work with stakeholders to help define project requirements and deliverables.
  • Partner with senior project managers and engineering leads to move projects through approval, build, and deployment readiness.
  • Assist in identifying, tracking, and mitigating project risks, issues, and schedule impacts.
  • Assist in tracking dependencies across internal teams, contract partners, and external suppliers.
  • Support coordination of production engineering activities including design reviews, supplier milestones, first article inspection, pilot builds, and engineering change management.
  • Maintain project schedules, action item logs, and change logs, and keep them current as programs evolve.
  • Assist with communication of project status, tailored to various audiences and levels of detail.
  • Create and maintain metrics measuring the effectiveness of project planning and execution.
  • Facilitate meetings, capture decisions and action items, and follow through to closure.
  • Support coordination with Operations and Procurement on part readiness, long lead items, and production ramp activities.
  • Help maintain project documentation and traceability appropriate to a regulated gaming environment.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within Table Games project management processes.
  • Learn AGS product lines, engineering processes, and regulatory requirements with guidance from senior staff.
