Job summary

Lucky Brand is seeking an Assistant Technical Designer to support the evaluation of apparel merchandise for fit, quality and design interpretation. You will collaborate with Design and Pre-Production teams, prepare product packages in Flex PLM, and maintain fit standards to ensure the brand's consistency and quality.

The role requires a college degree and 1+ years in technical design or related areas, with knowledge of garment construction and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

  • College degree in related field required.
  • 1+ years of Technical Design or similar experience is a plus.
  • Some knowledge of garment construction and manufacturing process.
  • An eye for proportion, balance and aesthetic details.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Develops confidence and assertiveness in fit presentation.
  • Ability to multitask and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills with an acute attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Proactive on problem solving and seeks input for optimum resolutions as needed.
  • Proficiency in Flex PLM, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
