THE OPPORTUNITY

We are currently on the lookout for a Human Resource Business Partner at Associate Team Lead/Team Lead level to join our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Designing and executing organizational development interventions to address opportunities and or challenges faced by business units
  2. Functioning as a consultant to the management on HR-related issues, providing guidance and recommendations for effective solutions
  3. Analyzing trends and metrics in partnership with the People Operations COEs to develop solutions, programs, and policies
  4. Providing HR policy guidance and interpretation
  5. Facilitating change management efforts related to organizational restructuring, mergers or process improvements
  6. Handling complex employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
  7. Providing coaching and support to managers on employee performance, development and retention strategies
  8. Facilitating Associate connects with leaders and other collaborative stakeholders
  9. Taking responsibility for the delivery of HR services associated with onboarding, 3-month reviews, probation confirmations, internal movements progressions and exits
  10. Working closely with management and Associates to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
  11. Identifying training needs for business units and individual coaching needs
  12. Participating in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success; following up to ensure training objectives are met
  13. Providing training and support to managers on setting goals, conducting performance reviews, and delivering feedback
  14. Driving talent assessment and succession planning initiatives to ensure the division has the right people in the right roles
  15. Providing guidance and consultation to delivery leads and middle managers on Sysco’s talent management framework and processes (including CMP, identification and developing top tier talent)
  16. Driving employee engagement and retention initiatives, engagement surveys and action plans
  17. Taking co-accountability for driving DEI initiatives across the respective business units
  18. Driving the spot recognition program
  19. Maintaining in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of Associates, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance; partnering with HR Operations as needed/required
  20. Assisting international Associates (L1 and B1 Assignees) with HR-related matters (home base)
  21. Leading/Supporting HR special projects and initiatives
  22. Facilitating leadership trainings
  23. Supporting offboarding processes and conducting exit interviews
  24. Supporting inter-divisional movements and process improvements
  25. Assisting and supporting the compensation and benefit process
  26. Performing other related duties as assigned compliance
REQUIREMENTS
  1. A Degree from a recognized foreign or local university
  2. Understanding of local labor laws and practices
  3. Should demonstrate emotional intelligence
  4. 4 - 6 years’ experience in people management; experience in Business Partnering is preferred
  5. Excellent people skills and the ability to negotiate with and manage stakeholders at diverse levels
  6. Attention to detail, organizational skills and the ability to function in a fast-paced environment
  7. Excellent written and spoken communication skills
