D Dartmouth Partners is seeking an Associate to join its Tax-Driven Investments team in Boston, working hands-on across the full investment lifecycle from evaluation to closing. The role offers meaningful ownership within a lean, growing team and opportunities to contribute to strategy development.
The Associate will collaborate with Legal, Tax, Treasury and other internal groups, gaining exposure to renewables, tax credits and transferability considerations while advancing portfolio management
A leading institutional investment platform is seeking an Associate to join its growing Tax-Driven Investments team. The team is responsible for identifying, evaluating and executing investments that generate attractive risk-adjusted returns while providing strategic tax benefits to the broader organization.
The strategy represents a multi-billion-dollar investment mandate spanning:
This is a highly hands-on opportunity within a lean and growing team. The Associate will have meaningful ownership and autonomy across the full investment lifecycle, including opportunity evaluation, financial analysis, due diligence, structuring, negotiation, execution, closing and ongoing portfolio management.
The role also provides the opportunity to contribute to the continued development of a relatively new investment strategy as the platform continues to grow.
The team is seeking candidates with approximately 4-7 years of relevant transaction experience, ideally with direct exposure to investment structuring and execution.
Relevant backgrounds may include:
Investment banking Associates with relevant transaction experience, particularly within energy, infrastructure or structured finance, are encouraged to apply. Candidates from adjacent backgrounds may also be considered where they can demonstrate relevant transaction structuring and execution experience.
Renewable energy experience is particularly relevant given the strategy's exposure to renewable tax equity and transferable tax credits. LIHTC and real estate investment experience may also be applicable.
Candidates should have direct transaction experience with meaningful exposure to structuring, negotiation and closing, rather than experience focused primarily on analytical or research responsibilities.
This position offers the opportunity to join a small, collaborative and growing investment team with significant responsibility from day one. The Associate will receive meaningful autonomy while working closely with senior investment professionals in a mentorship-driven environment.
The role is well suited to an investment professional with strong transaction execution skills who is interested in taking on broad responsibility across the investment lifecycle and contributing to the continued buildout of a growing tax-driven investment platform.
