Job description

Associate, Talent Intelligence - Talent Marketing

As a Talent Intelligence Analyst on the Talent Marketing team, you’ll work closely with Talent Acquisition, Talent Marketing team partners, and other researchers to enable the attraction and engagement of great talent that is passionate about changing banking for good. You’ll analyze data to create a deep understanding of the external talent market, finding ways Capital One can differentiate itself as an employer of choice in the market.

Our ideal candidate will display a strong balance of analytical and problem solving skills, consulting, and communication competencies as well as the ability to work in a dynamic team environment. You’ll be on a team of marketing strategists and researchers, supporting projects with both enterprise-wide and specific line of business impact.

Responsibilities:
  • Track the latest labor market signals and communicate breaking news across channels
  • Creating reports and presentations to communicate key findings to HR leadership regarding talent availability, market competitiveness, and emerging talent, market, and marketing trends
  • Presenting latest talent, market, and marketing trends to partner teams
  • Partnering with key talent acquisition teams to develop targeted sourcing and marketing strategies for niche roles based on talent intelligence insights
  • Scale and champion self-service by guiding stakeholders to products available to meet their immediate needs
  • Maintaining a library of data products stakeholders leverage in their everyday work
  • Support ad hoc requests for analysis from stakeholder groups
Successful team members demonstrate competencies in these areas:
  • Analysis: Identify opportunities for improvement and use data to make strategic and tactical recommendations
  • Partnership: Collaborate with colleagues across Capital One to drive improvements and results
  • Communication: Delivering high quality written and oral communication, (e.g. delivering presentations to stakeholders that tells a compelling story using analytics relevant to the audience)
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or military experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in secondary research, strategy, consulting, human resources, marketing, project management or a combination
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of experience with labor market analysis tools and/or applicant tracking systems
  • 1+ years of experience in the financial services industry
  • 2+ years of experience in an analytically-driven role (analytics, consulting, marketing, etc.)
  • Experience building management level reporting, dashboards, and presentations
  • Experience in Tableau or similar data visualization tools
  • Experience with complex datasets

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA: $71,200 - $81,300 for HR Associate

Richmond, VA: $64,700 - $73,900 for HR Associate

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
