Job summary

Moog is seeking an Associate Systems Engineer in Buffalo, NY. The role involves conceptual design, analysis, development, and testing of complex systems for ground vehicle solutions, naval applications, and missiles. You will work with cross‑functional teams to define architectures, requirements, and verification plans.

The ideal candidate has a BS in engineering and 0–2 years of related experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to obtain U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Mechanical, Software, Aerospace, or Systems Engineering.
• 0-2 years in a similar systems/design engineering role or internship is a plus.
• Strong technical written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Define systems architecture, interface definitions, and requirements validation.
• Create system‑level models, models as requirements, and simulations for solution architectures.
• Develop system level requirements and verify them across components.
• Communicate with customer representatives and suppliers about technical matters.
• Support design processes within Moog's program scope and generate concise reports.
• Generate and maintain test and analysis cases and ensure traceability to requirements.
• Assist with system/subsystem integration and testing.
• Learn from senior staff and apply lessons to tasks.
