Job Description :

The Associate Systems Engineer (Ruckus & Oracle) for our CCA (Caribbean Central America) Organization stays current with vendor-specific technical certifications to make appropriate recommendations to resellers on system solution configuration and design.

What You’ll Do :

  • Provide pre-sales technical support, solutions, and configuration design expertise to partners and sales teams on Oracle and Ruckus products. Use independent judgment to recommend solutions.
  • Offer phone support following KPIs.
  • Support sales and marketing efforts to increase vendor and product awareness.
  • Deliver technical presentations and training to sales, support, and customers.
  • Participate in departmental projects.
  • Report on key metrics and share updates with managers and vendors.
  • Contribute technical and non-technical input to colleagues. Promote pre-sales support activities.
  • Develop tactical plans to support QVO.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • Maintain attendance and punctuality standards.

Main Tasks

  • Configure basic/mid-level configurations (90%) / queue-based
  • Handle government bids and RFQs
  • Analyze and triage requests
  • Use tools effectively for configuration
  • Communicate with vendors and partners
  • Organize, prioritize, and complete multiple tasks
  • Review datasheets and research to improve output
  • Engage in training and mentoring

Other Education / Certifications :

  • 3+ years of experience with Oracle or Ruckus (preferred)
  • Bachelor's in systems
  • Network and data center certifications
