Job summary

The Boeing Company in North Charleston, SC, is seeking an Associate Systems Engineer to join the ALIT/EngOps team. This role emphasizes mentoring teammates, fostering engineering excellence, and leading Tier 0-2 requirements on the 787 program.

You will lead design reviews, coordinate with engineers, and ensure traceability and impact analyses. Travel up to 10% domestically and internationally is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field; ABET preferred in the USA.
• 2+ years of related work experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Master’s degree or advanced coursework in relevant engineering or systems engineering fields (preferred).
• Certification in systems engineering (e.g. INCOSE ASEP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manages 787 Tier 0-2 Requirements (New, Modified, and Deviations).
• Supports Design Engineers through active collaboration and coaching during requirement change processes.
• Tracks and manages multiple work packages; communicates status, risks and schedule impacts.
• Develops, implements and maintains process guidance for the program to ensure consistency.
