Overview

Perform an entry level engineering role in the design or construction aspects of engineering projects and assist other departmental engineers.

Responsibilities

• Perform design activities requiring a basic understanding of drawings, calculations, specifications, and industry standards and practices covering the assigned work.
• Have a basic knowledge of the theory, practices, and procedures pertaining to engineering in areas such as Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Communications Systems, Computer Engineering, or Automation Systems.
• Assist in the preparation of engineering drawings, calculations, cost estimates, specifications, evaluations, and requisitions.
• Develop professional work knowledge in areas like Distribution Engineering, Substation Design, Power Systems Analysis, Communications, Electrical Control Systems, Protective Relaying, Transmission Systems.
• Learn and adhere to the Company’s design, construction, QA/QC, and safety standards and document control system.
• Maintain complete and accurate records of all work performed.
• May be required to travel to support work.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited engineering program or an Associate Degree in Engineering with relevant experience at a Designer level.
