NYPA is excited to announce an opportunity for a cohort of five new full-time system planning/electrical engineers in the System Planning and Analysis (SPA) department. We are seeking recent graduates or junior engineers with 0-2 years of experience who want to acquire a broad range of planning and engineering skills through comprehensive training within multiple teams in SPA. Disciplines include Transmission Studies, Reliability Planning, Renewables Planning, Facility Ratings & Special Studies, Interconnection & Standards, and Resource Planning. The selected will benefit from cross-training with other departments, have opportunities with site visits, and participate in additional trainings.
This is a full-time, permanent position, not an internship. Upon completion of training, New Hire's will have the opportunity to continue their professional growth and focus in an area for specialization.#LI-AH1
