Wabash Valley Power, headquartered in Indiana, is seeking a System Operator to coordinate real-time energy delivery for our member cooperatives. You will work in our Operations Center, handling communications between IOUs, members, and the operations team, and support real-time monitoring and control systems.
The role requires obtaining NERC/ PJM certifications within nine months, with a rotating 12-hour schedule in a 24/7 environment.

This role facilitates core functions within WVPAs Operations Center to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of energy to our members. You will be a central contact point, coordinating communication between Investor-Owned Utilities (IOUs), WVPAs members, and our operations team to maintain efficient and secure energy distribution. This role requires handling real-time monitoring and control systems, supporting system operators, and managing communication during planned and unplanned events.
Candidates will be hired into the System Operator classification (Associate, I, II, Senior) that aligns with their years of experience, certifications, and qualifications.
Office-based role with a rotating 12-hour shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays in a 24/7/365 environment.
