Job Description:

This posting is for multiple technology positions across various teams in Southwest's Warrior Hire Program. The program aims to recruit and support transitioning Veterans by providing professional growth, camaraderie, and mentorship opportunities. If you are planning your transition to a civilian career or have recently transitioned, this program is designed to support you and integrate you into our Southwest Family. Below is an overview of each team:

  • QMO Metrics Dashboard’s team: Uses industry-leading tools to support the QMO Metrics Dashboard project, providing real-time insights critical for leadership decisions. Responsibilities include automating data flows, streamlining workflows, and validating information. Preferred candidates have experience with Python, C#, SQL, GitLab, API automation tools like Postman, and UI automation tools such as Selenium.
  • Work location and travel: This Dallas-based role is primarily remote but may require travel for training, meetings, and conferences. Most work can be done from an approved remote location within Dallas.
  • Eligibility: U.S. citizenship or current work authorization is required; sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities
  • Research problems, plan solutions, recommend software and systems, and coordinate development activities to meet business needs.
  • Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and collaborate on solutions.
  • Ensure system and infrastructure availability, resolve escalations, and support platform strategy updates.
  • Stay informed on technology trends and meet project commitments.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network issues, and replace defective components.
  • Provide technical guidance and review test strategies and quality standards.
  • Perform other duties as directed by leadership.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Work duties from a desk or office for extended periods.
  • Effective communication in English.
  • Proficiency with computers and office tools.
  • Maintain professional appearance and adhere to attendance standards.
Pay & Benefits

Salary ranges from $86,850 to $96,500 annually, with potential bonuses. Benefits include free flights, 401(k) contributions, profit sharing, health insurance, and more. For details, visit https://careers.southwestair.com/benefits.
