Job description
Responsibilities to Anticipate for this role
Lead Developmental projects as the System Integration Engineer for build, verification and delivery of military vehicles to the customer.
Plan the physical and functional integration activity by developing and maintaining Prototype/Mockup vehicle build schedules.
Develop, maintain and execute prototype fabrication and build plans.
Assist in prototype hardware procurement.
Coordinate SSE assistance as necessary to support prototype shop activities.
Act as primary interface between sub-system engineering and the prototype build shop.
Responsible for vehicle level system integration, verification, and problem reporting/resolution.
Develop and foster a cohesive build team environment between prototype shop mechanics, sub system engineers, and system engineers.
Direct mechanics in the assembly of subsystems onto military vehicles using applicable models and drawings.
Monitor the Engineering Bill of Materials (BOM) maturity and Engineering Release Plan execution.
Track material receipts and address “late to need” issues.
Generate Engineering Problem Reports to document fabrication, installation, and/or functionality issues discovered during the prototype build.

Previous experience working on ground combat vehicles desired.
This position may require the candidate to be able to climb on/off, work in, and work around military vehicles.
Must be able to pass ASR test (Anthropometric Size Requirement for confined space)
