Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Analyze, develop, and implement long-term supply chain strategies and networks addressing capacity and location decisions.
• Lead and participate in monthly IBP/SIOP cycles with capacity scenarios.
• Identify and elevate exceptions with potential scenarios and solutions.
• Clean master data, maintain planning systems, and govern standards.
• Create Master Production Schedule and align with contract manufacturing.
• Collaborate with planning and contract manufacturing teams for forecasts and capacity reviews.
• Manage supply chain to meet KPIs including service levels and inventory metrics.
• Liaise with regions, DRP, customer operations, sourcing, and distribution to improve communications.
• Maintain documentation as the single source of truth.

Job description

Analyze, develop, and implement long-term supply chain strategies and networks that address capacity issues and production location decisions in support of business goals
Actively lead and participate in monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and S&OE cycle managing long-term rough-cut capacity views and short-term planning with scenario planning
Identify and elevate exceptions for consideration with the suggestion of possible scenarios and solutions
Complete Master data cleanup, planning system maintenance, optimization & governance of standards
Create Master Production Schedule
Collaborate with Medtronic Planning and Contract Mfg./OEM teams – Monthly Planning Handshake/SIOP, forecast & capacity review, Monthly and Quarterly Operation Reviews
Effectively manage the supply chain to meet and exceed KPI’s relating to service levels, net requirement attainment, inventory levels/inventory weeks, and backorder dollars
Liaises with regions, DRP teams, Customer Operations, Contract Manufacturing, Sourcing, Marketing, and Distribution to improve overall communication and process flows
Ownership for documentation and making sure it is up to date, deployed, and the single source of truth

• Experience with purchasing, forecasting and supplier management
• Experience in managing projects and working in teams
• Experience with computer applications including Microsoft office
• Strong communication skills (both verbally and in written) with a proven ability to understand key concepts and communicate with business stakeholders
