Job summary

QinetiQ US in Massachusetts is seeking an Associate Supplier Quality Engineer to help ensure suppliers deliver high-quality materials and services. This early-career role emphasizes problem-solving, supplier collaboration, and building a strong supply base.

You will work with MRB processes, SCARs, and cross-functional teams; travel up to 10%; a DoD security clearance is required or attainable.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, or related technical field.
0-2 years of experience.
Familiarity with AS9102 First Article Inspections.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication with suppliers and stakeholders.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
10% travel.
Must be able to obtain a DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

Support MRB processes by reviewing nonconforming material and coordinating supplier responses.
Work with suppliers to resolve missing or incorrect documentation.
Assist with initiation, tracking, and follow-up of SCARs.
Monitor supplier performance metrics and provide updates to teams.
Support supplier assessments and audits; may perform supplier evaluations under supervision.
Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve supplier-related issues.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance supplier quality.
