Santa Clara County Office of Education is seeking an executive administrator under the County Superintendent of Schools to plan, organize, direct, and lead operations and services across divisions, projects, and programs. This role may include assignment to additional duties and representation of the County Superintendent.
As a Cabinet member, you may be eligible for stipend support for a master’s degree and for a doctorate, upon documentation.
Under the supervision of the County Superintendent of Schools, plans, organizes, directs, reviews, and leads operations and services of departments, projects, programs, and initiatives in an assigned Division and as otherwise directed by the County Superintendent. May be assigned leadership responsibilities for additional programs, departments, or Divisions at the discretion of the County Superintendent. May be assigned to represent the County Superintendent and/or cover special assigned duties. This is an executive certificated administrator position and a member of the County Superintendent’s Cabinet.
Leadership team members are eligible to receive a $2,500 annual stipend for a master’s degree and a $2,500 additional stipend for a doctorate, provided official documentation is submitted.
Following the final filing date, the most qualified candidates will be invited to participate in an in-person panel interview tentatively scheduled for September 22, 2026. Scheduled dates are subject to change as deemed necessary by Human Resources.
