Job summary

Olsson Associates in Fayetteville, AR is seeking an Associate Structural Engineer to join our industrial team. You will work with experienced engineers to deliver design, analysis, and coordination on diverse projects.

As an EIT with a passion for growth, you will develop 3D models in Revit, produce construction documents, and mentor interns while collaborating across disciplines to meet project goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering with a Structural emphasis.
• Minimum of one year of engineering experience.
• Engineer Intern (EI) certification.
• Experience with 3D modeling and construction documents in Revit.
• Familiar with AutoCAD, RISA 3D, EnerCalc, Excel, and Hilti/DeWalt design tools.

We are seeking an Associate Structural Engineer withstrong technical curiosity and adesire to grow their engineering skills. In this role, you'll work with a team of experienced engineers to deliver projects, solve complex challenges, and take onincreasing responsibility in engineering analysis, design, and project coordination. As a continuing developmental Engineer-in-Training (EIT), you'll apply established engineering principles, contribute to practical design solutions, and continue building the technical and professional skills needed for long-term careergrowth.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design Solutions by developing calculations, models, and construction documents to deliver safe, practical industrial facilities.
• Deliver Projects by supporting design, coordination, and project documentation for successful project outcomes.
• Solve Challenges by applying engineering principles and collaborating with experienced engineers to develop effective solutions.
• Collaborate Across Teams with engineers, designers, clients, and contractors to advance project goals.
• Grow Your Expertise through hands‑on experience with structural analysis, design software, and real‑world projects.
• Support Quality Delivery by preparing calculations, reports, and documentation that meet project requirements.
• Develop Others by mentoring interns and sharing technical knowledge.
• Gain Field Experience through site visits that verify conditions and support design and construction activities.

• Familiar with ACAD Software, RISA 3D, EnerCalc, MS Excel, and Hilti/Dewalt design.
