Job summary

TLG in Washington, DC seeks an Associate to support the Managing Partner with executive duties and client-facing research. You will manage scheduling, coordinate initiatives, handle expenses, and collaborate with leadership support teams.

You will perform research, draft communications for diverse stakeholders, build media lists, and monitor coverage on a range of reputation and policy issues at the intersection of media, business, policy, and the law.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 1–3 years in legislative, communications, consulting, finance, or legal fields preferred.
• Discretion, problem-solving, attention to detail, and writing/research skills essential.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Professional, client-ready demeanor required.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive support to the Managing Partner, including strategic scheduling and expense tracking.
• Coordinate firm-wide initiatives with leadership support teams.
• Conduct insightful research and develop communications collateral for stakeholders.
• Develop media lists and monitor media for clients on a portfolio of issues at the intersection of media, business, policy, and the law.
• Translate research into actionable insights to inform strategy and execution.
