Job description

As an Associate Store Leader, you will play a pivotal role in driving and supporting retail initiatives to enhance operational excellence within our retail stores. Your responsibilities will include team development and performance management, overseeing inventory management, leading change management efforts, and crafting effective communications. Your Mission
  1. Lead recruitment for lead advisors and advisors, and deliver a strong onboarding process for new hires.
  2. Oversee all talent-related matters including scheduling, time tracking, payroll, absence, conduct, and performance.
  3. Implement development plans for team leads to support their professional growth and performance.
  4. Ensure optimal stock levels and inventory accuracy by proactively monitoring sell-through rates and product flow strategy in store.
  5. Ensure smooth transitions by planning visual change-outs in advance and addressing any visual updates for sell-through optimization on a daily basis.
  6. Ensure effective in-store training delivered by the training lead.
  7. Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
  8. Demonstrate a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
  9. Embrace new ideas and initiatives to drive store success.
  10. Uphold high standards of integrity and professionalism in all actions.
Your story
  1. 3-5 years of experience in retail operations or a customer-focused environment.
  2. 2+ years of experience leading teams, managing projects, or driving performance improvement initiatives.
  3. Experience in the Outlet, Running, Fashion, or Sports industry is a plus, but a passion for these areas is essential.
  4. You possess an entrepreneurial growth mindset, eager to challenge the status quo with an appetite for relentless improvement.
  5. You have a proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
  6. You have strong experience in project management, coordinating cross-functional teams from start to finish.
  7. Ability to work weekends, evenings and holidays as needed.
About the Team

In this role, you will work alongside Retail Operations, Retail Tech, Retail Training, and the global DTC Retail team to elevate store processes and drive operational excellence. Additionally, you will collaborate with store teams to manage and communicate store workload across departments, steer special projects, ensure smooth technical operations, and implement omni-channel opportunities in our retail stores. Typical cash compensation range for this position inclusive of base + bonus: $88,000- $110,000. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate including experience, industry knowledge, qualifications, skill set, and location. Certain roles may be eligible for equity compensation in addition to cash compensation. At On we understand cash compensation is just one piece of your total rewards package.
