Job Description
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience of 5+ years
- Strong experience in ServiceNow Development, specializing in HRSD, UI Builder, Service Portal, and ITSM modules.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow integrations with third-party systems.
- Experience with other modules such as ITOM, GRC, or CSM.
- Proficiency in scripting in ServiceNow using JavaScript, Glide APIs, and AngularJS.
- Experience in implementing ServiceNow integrations with third-party platforms.
- Strong understanding of ITIL principles.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience in developing and implementing technical solutions and conducting component integration tests.
- Proficiency in configuring ServiceNow using scripting (UI Policies/Actions, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Jelly scripting, AngularJS).
- Effective communication skills to liaise with users, technical teams, and management, gather requirements, and describe software features and designs.
- Mentoring team members to meet client needs and ensuring high standards of delivery.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understanding functional requirements thoroughly and analyzing client needs in the project context.
- Envisioning the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements, including selecting technologies, patterns, and frameworks.
- Determining and implementing design methodologies and toolsets.
- Coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities to enable application development.
- Leading or supporting UAT and production rollouts.
- Creating, understanding, and validating Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and effort estimates, justifying them as needed.
- Addressing issues promptly and responding positively to setbacks with a mindset of continuous improvement.
- Providing constructive feedback to team members and setting clear expectations.
- Assisting in troubleshooting and resolving complex bugs.
- Proposing solutions during code/design reviews and justifying decisions.
- Carrying out proof of concepts (POCs) to ensure suggested designs and technologies meet requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
