Job summary

Jubilant HollisterStier LLC in Spokane, WA is seeking a Stability Associate to manage stability studies, maintain SOPs, and support GMP-compliant stability operations on site.

You will work Monday–Friday 8am–5pm, with a starting wage of $32.01–$37.65 hourly and benefits starting Day One. This role includes data entry in the Stability LIMS and collaboration across QC and facilities teams.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years pharmaceutical or FDA regulated industry experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the stability program for products requiring testing and initiate studies per SOPs.
  • Enter stability data into the Stability LIMS system and generate reports.
  • Document significant events and communicate issues to stakeholders.
  • Maintain custody and inventory of stability samples and close out studies as needed.
  • Revise SOPs or create new SOPs for stability processes.
  • Write study plans, protocols, and deviations as directed.
  • Research stability data to assist in resolving customer complaints.
  • Support special projects and ensure space for stability sample storage.
  • Assist with deviations investigations and compliance activities.

Job Description:

The purpose of the Stability Associate is to implement required new studies, maintain the stability study program for all products that require such testing, generate related protocols, maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and communicate with contract clients as it relates to the stability program. In addition, the Stability Associate will assist in maintaining compliance with the Jubilant HollisterStier Stability Program and provide support in actions required due to power outages and temperature/humidity excursions for stability chambers.

  1. Maintain the stability program for the products which require such testing. This includes:
    • Ensure that stability batches are provided to the stability department in a timely basis and studies are initiated as required by the appropriate protocol or SOP.
    • As required, enter stability data into the Stability LIMS System and review stability data.
    • Provide required reports as scheduled (Annual Reviews, DMFs, client product reports) or more frequently upon request.
    • Document significant events for stability studies and communicate issues to internal/external stakeholders, as directed.
    • Maintain clear chain of stability sample custody and accurate inventory.
    • Review completed or cancelled studies. Close out studies as required.
  2. Revise existing SOPs or create new SOPs as required to document stability department processes.
  3. Write study plans, protocols, and deviations, as directed.
  4. Research and summarize stability data to assist in resolution of customer complaints, as required.
  5. Conduct special projects as directed by the QC Stability Supervisor and/or Manager, such as summarize
  6. information on product deviations, failures, or process changes.
  7. Work with the QC Stability Supervisor and/or Manager, facilities maintenance, business development, and
  8. process development and other personnel to ensure adequate space is available for stability sample storage.
  9. Assist with activities to ensure compliance related to Stability areas as directed by the QC Stability Supervisor and/or Manager, including assessment/actions related to chamber temperature/humidity excursions.
  10. Assist with stability related Deviation investigations.
Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School diploma or equivalent plus 2 years of pharmaceutical experience or FDA regulated industry experience is required.
  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Understanding of cGMP concepts, especially as related to stability studies and quality.
  • Familiarity with the FDA and ICH guidelines for conducting stability studies.
  • Basic understanding of various computer programs, which may be used to establish the databases and evaluation methods of the data.
Working Environment:
  • Prolonged sitting
  • Lifting up to 25 lbs
