Job summary

AST SpaceMobile is seeking an Associate Test Engineer to validate spacecraft subsystems and supporting hardware. You will define test parameters, develop test plans, and implement QA procedures to ensure engineering requirements are met before integration and deployment.

This night-shift role (Shift 2) runs Monday–Thursday, 6:00 p.m.–4:00 a.m., with collaboration across design teams to execute test campaigns, troubleshoot issues, and document results for configuration control and continuous

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2+ years of engineering test, QA, or systems validation.
• Experience developing and executing test plans and procedures.
• Ability to interpret engineering documentation and requirements.
• Experience with complex hardware in engineering/manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Define testing requirements and performance parameters with design teams.
• Develop test plans, procedures, and test cases to validate functionality.
• Design QA processes and performance testing methodologies.
• Execute test procedures and oversee test campaigns for spacecraft and hardware.
• Troubleshoot test setups and refine testing procedures.
• Document procedures for approval and configuration control.
• Train technicians on test procedures and equipment usage.
• Analyze test data and prepare technical reports with findings and recommendations.
• Support continuous improvement of testing methodologies.
