Job summary

Chico's FAS, Inc DBA Chico's Retail Services, Inc is seeking a Production/Sourcing Coordinator to manage development and supplier coordination from allocation to delivery. This role supports brand vision, targets costs, and ensures timely delivery.

You will collaborate with suppliers and internal teams, manage calendars, resolve cost challenges, and coordinate samples and onboarding of new suppliers and factories. Fort Myers, FL-based, full-time position.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in a production/sourcing role within the apparel industry; 3+ years preferred.
• Costing experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Excel proficiency emphasized; Microsoft Office suite experience.

Responsibilities

• Drives product execution ensuring styles are allocated to and received from suppliers with target cost and delivery commitment information.
• Assists in engineering and resolution of cost challenges with suppliers and communicates with partners to resolve before milestone meetings.
• Reviews and evaluates supplier time & action calendars.
• Troubleshoots and resolves production or delivery issues.
• Assists in managing all development samples and submissions.
• On-boards new suppliers, countries, and factories; maintains strong internal and external relationships.

POSITION OBJECTIVE

This position is responsible for managing the development and sourcing process from supplier allocation through to product delivery. This position works closely with key partners to deliver on the brand vision and value proposition throughout the process.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drives product execution ensuring styles are allocated to and received from suppliers with target cost, and delivery commitment information.
• Assists in engineering and resolution of any cost challenges - working with suppliers on challenges and communicating to key partners with a goal of resolving prior to milestone meetings.
• Reviews and evaluates supplier time & action calendars.
• Troubleshoots and resolves any issues pertaining to production or delivery.
• Assists in the management of all development samples and submits.
• Partners with leader on the on-boarding of new suppliers/countries/factories.
• Drives product execution ensuring styles are allocated to and received from suppliers with target cost, and delivery commitment information.
• Assists in the organization of supplier meetings at NSSC.
• Establishes and cultivates strong relationships with all internal and external partners.
• Other duties as assigned. This position may be found in multiple brands. Some duties may vary from brand to brand.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma/G.E.D. required; College degree preferred
• 2 + years' experience in a production/sourcing role within the apparel industry; 3 + years preferred
• Costing experience preferred
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Excellent in Microsoft office suite; emphasis in Excel
• Must be detailed oriented & ability to maintain tight deadlines
• Demonstrates ability to take initiative, identify & prioritize opportunities
• Positive attitude & a team player
• Experience in vendor cost negotiation & building vendor relationships an added advantage
• Exposure to Flex PLM or comparable software, preferred #LI-CS4
