Job summary

The Fountain Group is seeking an Associate Software Test Engineer for a prominent client in Tucson, AZ. This onsite, 1-year contract role offers $42–$45 per hour and may extend based on performance and budget.

The position is primarily responsible for system-level verification testing and writing test cases during New Product Development. You will document results and defects, assist with software requirements and risk analysis, and collaborate with global counterparts in Spain and Romania

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Biomedical Sciences, or related field is required.
• 0–2+ years in Software Integration or Software Testing is required.
• Experience with writing software requirements, risk analysis, and configuration management is preferred.
• Familiarity with regulated environments (FDA, ISO) or biotech industry is preferred.

• System-level verification testing for two application software platforms in a pathology lab.
• Write test cases for new software features during New Product Development (NPD).

We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Associate Software Test Engineer for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Tucson, AZ 85755. Details of the position are as follows.

Job Details:

• Pay: $42.00 - $45.00/hr. to Start!!
• 1 year contract, possibility for extension or conversion based on performance and budget..
• Schedule: Onsite (Flexible to take early morning calls from home before commuting).
• Position will be mainly responsible for system-level verification testing for two different application software platforms in a pathology lab.
• Position will also be responsible for writing test cases for new software features during New Product Development (NPD).
• Position will execute testing and thoroughly document the results and defects.
• Position will assist with writing software requirements and conducting risk analysis.
• Position will collaborate heavily with global counterparts in Spain and Romania within a small core team of 3 and a larger project group of 30.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Biomedical Sciences, or a related technical field is Required!
• Experience (0-2+ years, including relevant internships or spot-on academic projects) in Software Integration or Software Testing is Required!
• Experience with writing software requirements, risk analysis, and configuration management is Preferred!
• Familiarity with regulated environments (FDA, ISO) or the biotech industry is Preferred! (Note: The manager is open to candidates from any industry).
