Job summary

TriNet Group, Inc. in Atlanta, GA is seeking an Associate Software Engineer to help design, develop, test, and release our web and mobile applications. You will work within Agile scrum teams to implement new solutions and enhancements while maintaining existing systems.

Preferred candidates have a Bachelor's in CS/Engineering and up to 2 years of experience with Java or Python, UI frameworks such as AngularJS or ReactJS, and REST/gRPC/GraphQL APIs. Relocation to Atlanta may be considered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or related field.
• Typically < 2 years experience developing products with UI or backend web tech.
• Understanding of SDLC and software development best practices.
• Experience with Java or Python and UI frameworks like AngularJS or ReactJS.
• Familiar with REST, gRPC, GraphQL and SOA concepts.
• Knowledge of databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new solutions and enhancements, including fixes.
• Collaborate with geographically diverse scrum teams using Agile.
• Learn new technologies to support existing and strategic products.
• Contribute to SDLC, testing, troubleshooting and releases.
• Assist with code merges and releases; develop unit and automation tests.
