Gelber Group LLC is seeking an Associate Software Engineer on the Integrations Team in Chicago. You will collaborate with engineers and traders to design, develop, and deploy trading applications, focusing on C#, with ongoing enhancements for human and algorithmic traders.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, with hybrid in-office presence (Tue–Thu) after onboarding, and a strong emphasis on communication and problem solving in financial markets.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 1–4 years of work experience with C#, Java, or C++. C# Professional Experience Required.
• 1–4 years of work experience with SQL.
• Python and Linux experience strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with ChatGPT Codex.
• Strong understanding of Object Oriented Programming.
• Excellent communication skills translating requirements into code and debugging.
• Self-motivation and ability to work in a hybrid environment.
• Ability to show strong interest in financial markets.

Aufgaben

• Communicate with engineers, traders, and quants to architect, design, develop, deploy, and support proprietary trading applications.
• Manage projects from concept to user adoption.
• Develop and enhance existing infrastructure in C#, and build new features for traders.
• Bridge trading and technology, acting as the technical touchpoint for trading.
• Become an expert in the trading pipeline and related software stack.
• Provide real-time support and bug fixes for live trading applications.
