Job summary

impact.com is seeking an Associate Software Engineer to contribute to our agile squads, delivering high-quality code and meaningful tests. You will work with Java, Spring, and modern technologies, gaining exposure to cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines in a distributed team.

This role emphasizes collaboration, problem solving, and growth, with a base salary of $80,000–$90,000, plus a 5% performance bonus and RSU eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or similar, or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Framework with REST API experience.
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure) and databases such as MySQL.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain clean, maintainable code for the impact.com platform, including pair programming with senior engineers.
• Build and test: unit, functional, and integration tests; assist QA in staging environments.
• Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment with a distributed team to meet quarterly objectives.
• Triage and support: verify bug reports and implement fixes to maintain platform health.
• Learn and grow: become an expert in squad technologies and help onboard new team members.
