Job summary

Goldman Sachs & Co LLC in Jersey City, NJ is seeking an Associate, Software Engineering to develop, enhance, support, and maintain end-to-end software and data engineering solutions for its global businesses. You will design scalable technology solutions leveraging Java, C++, Spring, Hibernate, and modern data pipelines within a Unix environment.

The role requires mastering the full software development lifecycle, collaboration in Agile/Scrum teams, and expertise in CI/CD workflows and IaC.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems or related field with 1 year experience OR Bachelor’s degree in related field with 3 years experience.
Experience with C++ or Java; full SDLC; Agile/Scrum; multi-threaded/multi-process service-oriented apps; REST/Java/Spring; RDBMS (Sybase/Oracle); microservices design; IaC; scripting languages; CI/CD workflows.
