• Experience with C++ or Java; full SDLC including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, documentation, deployment, and production support including observability of production pipelines.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies; multi-threaded and multi-process service-oriented applications; REST/Java/Spring; messaging with RabbitMQ or Kafka; RDBMS like Oracle or Sybase; microservices architecture; IaC with Terraform/CloudFormation/Ansible; scripting (Python/Go/Bash/PowerShell/Java); and CI/CD (GitHub Actions/GitLab CI/Jenkins).

Prior experience must include one (1) year with Master’s OR three (3) years with Bachelor’s with the following skills: C++ or Java; full software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, documentation, deployment, and production support including observability of production pipelines; collaborative teamwork and continuous project improvement using Agile and Scrum methodologies; building multi-threaded and multi-process service-oriented C++ or Java enterprise applications within Unix environment; programming technologies including Java, Spring, Hibernate, RabbitMQ, or Kafka; relational database management system (RDBMS) such as Sybase or Oracle; micro-services architecture design and development including REST, Java, Spring, or other back-end technologies; infrastructure as Code (IaC) including Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible; scripting Languages including Python, Go, Bash, PowerShell, or Java; and CI/CD Workflows including GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins
Salary Range: Annual base salary for this Jersey City, New Jersey -based position is $149,000 - $168,700.
