Acron Aviation designs, engineers, and manufactures certified avionics systems for safety-critical flight operations. The Associate Embedded Software Engineer – Surveillance will join a multidisciplinary team to develop, integrate, test, and certify embedded real-time software used in airborne avionics.
You will work with Systems, Hardware, Test, and Program Management to ensure DO-178B/C compliant software across TCAS, ADS-B, and Mode S transponder platforms, contributing to the full lifecycle

Within Avionics, the Surveillance product line develops and sustains systems that enable aircraft awareness, collision avoidance, and airspace interoperability. Our portfolio includes TCAS, Mode S transponders, ADS-B, and integrated surveillance solutions deployed across commercial, military, and rotorcraft platforms. This work is performed in highly regulated environments and demands deep expertise across systems, hardware, software, and RF throughout the full product lifecycle.
You will be part of a multidisciplinary engineering team responsible for developing, integrating, testing, and certifying embedded real-time software used in airborne avionics systems.
Working under the guidance of experienced software engineering leaders and technical mentors, you will participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, software design, coding, integration, verification, and certification activities. You will collaborate with Systems Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Test Engineering, Project Engineering, and Program Management to deliver safety-critical software that complies with FAA and international certification standards.
