Job summary

C3 AI, Inc. in Redwood City, CA, is seeking an Associate Site Reliability Engineer to strengthen our HQ team. The role emphasizes maximizing uptime and building automated monitoring to meet performance SLAs for our enterprise AI platform.

You will deploy and operate scalable Linux/Kubernetes infrastructure across public clouds, drive deployment automation with IaC tools, and collaborate with Services and Engineering teams to improve reliability.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience deploying and operating scalable Linux/Kubernetes/JVM-based infrastructure in AWS, GCP, and other public clouds.
• Expertise in Linux OS, Networking, and Databases.
• Experience deploying, upgrading, and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters and workloads.
• Experience with Cassandra (or another NoSQL database).
• Cloud provider expertise: AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Experience with Puppet.
• Bash or Python scripting for automation.
• IaC tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Experience supporting as a DevOps or sys admin for commercial SaaS solutions.

• Experience with Cassandra (or another NoSQL alternative).
• Expertise in cloud providers, such as Amazon Web Services, Azure, and GCP.
• Experience with configuration management systems such as Puppet.
• Experience in Bash or Python; to automate and monitor systems.
• Experience with IaC tools like Ansible or Terraform.
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Experience supporting as a DevOps or sys admin for commercial SaaS solutions.

California Base Pay Range

$90,000 — $160,000 USD
