The Team

Our SRE team is at the forefront of driving best practices and implementing new solutions across the organization for observability, reliability, and stability within our products. We’re a tight-knit team that values collaboration, always looking for ways to improve and solve problems before they happen.

About The Role

Grade Level (for internal use): 08

Responsibilities and Impact
  • Learn and apply reliability best practices: Understand and implement SRE principles to ensure systems are scalable, resilient, and highly available.
  • Assist with observability strategies: Help teams utilize the right tools and insights to detect and prevent issues before they impact users.
  • Support performance optimization: Collaborate with engineering and service delivery teams to optimize performance and plan for growth.
  • Participate in incident management and postmortems: Assist in incident response, contribute to root cause analysis, and learn from postmortems to improve system reliability.
  • Identify opportunities for automation: Suggest areas for automation and help build tools that improve operational efficiency and developer experience.
  • Collaborate and learn from team members: Engage in a culture of learning and work with engineering and service delivery teams to embed reliability into the development and support lifecycle.
Qualifications

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies (preferred AWS).
  • Familiarity with scripting or coding languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS Certification (preferred).
  • Previous work experience in technology support, DevOps, or SRE roles (preferred).
  • Understanding of observability in technology (preferred).
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (preferred).
